[Mat 4:8-10 NASB95] 8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, "All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me." 10 Then Jesus said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'"

Satan’s final wilderness temptation to Jesus was an utter failure. Why would the adversary try and tempt the One who created all with only some? And anything Satan has was given to him by GOD in the first place.

If you find yourself in an extreme and terrible season of life, it would be very easy to back peddle and drift from GOD. Possibly, even blame Him for the pain you are experiencing, but that’s not what Jesus shows us. It’s not the right response to the Creator of the world and the Redeemer of your soul.

Jesus maintained His worship and fear of GOD in every moment and so should we, His followers, His disciples, His students.

[Exodus 20:3-5a NASB95] 3 "You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5 "You shall not worship them or serve them;’

Most of us agree that it is not wise to worship or elevate our careers, status, money or material things above GOD, but what about the subtle and seemingly good things that we place before GOD? Let me ask in a different way, do you love your children more than GOD?

If the answer is, yes, then I pray GOD would help you understand that until you place Him at the top of every list in your life, you will not fully or correctly have the ability to love others the way GOD wants us to. And the way that would benefit them most.

My brother, my sister, worship and serve GOD only.
