We have a body and we have a spirit and they both need food. Unfortunately, we tend to feed the physical body much more than we feed our spiritual body, but Jesus (quoting Deuteronomy 8:3) says we should live by every word that comes from the mouth of GOD.

Where can we find the words of GOD? The Bible!

So, get yourself a Bible translation that you will understand. There are many great translations. Then, pray for GOD to help you understand it. Read it. Get a notebook to interact with the text and jot down notes or questions. Think about it throughout your day. Act upon it. Talk to other believers about it. Let it direct the choices that you make. The words that you say. And the thoughts you think.

The Bible is the only book that has the very words of GOD, the Creator of all things. If you wish to grow in your walk with Christ, then you must read it and write it upon the tablet of your heart, so that you will know the words and very character of God and you will protect yourself from being deceived by Satan.

Even Satan knows Scripture, but he twists it to make you fall and disobey GOD. So, if we do not stay in GOD’s Word then we will be “tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine” (Ephesians 4:14).

If you are looking for the truth of any situation you don’t go to a secondary source, you go to the primary source.

So, child of GOD, go to GOD’s Word!
